CFW Community Pages Either straight to the chatrooms or to the Community pages On login to the "Community pages you will be directed to your profile page where you can upload an image or choose a predefined image from a selection, this is your facebook page This page links you too the latest blog posts, forum posts, Groups and connections to friends 5. Edit your profile on left top of profile screen to add extra information Add new friends and get friends alerts Your new friends will be added to your profile page HOW DO I UPLOAD AN AVATAR AND SIGNATURE ON THE FORUMS ? Because the Community pages are integrated with the forums you change all your relevant details on the community pages ( Your Profile) , the avatar and signature and other details will then be the same for the forums and will be added as such, this also applies too the wall, groups, and blogs, HOW DO I USE THE COMMUNITY PAGES ? Login to the "Community Pages" HOW DO I CONNECT WITH FRIENDS ? Login to the "Community pages" go to a persons profile page, through "Connections"menu On their profile choose "Request Connection" If your connection is accepted , next time you login to the "Community Pages" you will be notified HOW CAN LEAVE MESSAGES ON THE COMMUNITY ? Choose "connections" And "Manage Connections" Leave your messages and click "update" Once you have updated your details go to "Home" (top left) and sign into the chatrooms HOW DO WE KNOW SOMEONE HAS ACCEPTED A REQUEST ? As you login the the "Community Pages" look on the left, you will see a friends request message, on "New Connections" go to "manage connections" from there click the green plus sign next to the persons name and go to the right to choose "submit", you now have your first connection
THE WALL HOW DO I USE THE WALL ? This is exactly like facebook, one difference is the "trail" option , where you can type in your location in the search menu, choose a series of photos and copy the link at middle right straight into your wall The wall is seen by by public from the main "CFW Community wall" menu, but can only be accessed by registerd chatters EDITING MY PROFILE Go to "Edit" and update profile from their you can enter all your info
GROUPS Groups include ,Wall, Videos, forums, files, Photos, events , users,
To use the Groups Section, choose a category and create a group within that category Categories such as CFW Groups, general and Church group categories are open groups where anyone can join or be invited into that group All Other categories are Invitation or request to join Categories If you create a group within categories like these people cannot see the group unless they are registered with CFW and they must be invited to the group or request to join the group through the "request" option
The groups in , invitation or request only, categories mentioned are ladies, mens, prayer, youth, categories to name but a few, these groups are protected If you start a group, you are the administrator of that group and you are responsible for that group, You can promote your friends to "admin or monitor " of your group Because the groups are intergrated with the forums your friends become moniotrs of your group forum
As with the blogs, forums and profiles/community pages and wall ....the groups are self monitored, but with the exception that you hold reponsibility for that group and have the power to delete posts and edit posts Admins of their groups can post on their groups but members cannot CONCERNING THE FORUMS You can use the main forums , but a group forum cannot be posted too unless you are a member of that group
1. How do I turn off prvate messages ? On the "Options" menu you can choose whether to accept private message or not 2. What do I need to know about the Chatrooms ? you can choose between large screen or full screen mode, Before entering chat at the top of the chat screen, you will notice four menu items, click on "options" Sound settings can be adjusted You can choose which theme you would like to use in Chat eg: background screen on which you type Also be sure to use the "share" options to share faithwalk chat with others, simply copy and paste the code 3. What other options do I have while in chat ? There are six menu options at the top right hand side of the chat rooms just above the chatter list menu GAMES : you can play various games SCROLL: If you need to scroll back over the conversation you can lock the screen TURN OFF SOUND: MESSAGE HISTORY: Gives you the same message log as in chat, CLEAR SCREEN: EXIT CHAT
1. What is the friends list ? You can add friends IF you are registered simply by left clicking on their names and on the drop down choosing "add friend" On your friends list you will see the names of your friends who are in chat even if they are in different rooms On left click you have various options on the chatter names bar on the right : including Private Message, Personal message in room, whisper, ignore, send file, view profile, remove friend from list,
How do I use the bottom nine menu items under the chat screen where I type ? 1, By clicking on a name and typing you will direct your message to the person you are speaking too, by clicking on the "all users" bottom left, you will be chatting to all 2, the second menu item gives you your text size and font options 3. On the third menu item you can choose your smileys 4. As well as changing the background to chat on the way in, you can also choose a background picture on menu four 5. Send a flash emoticon onto the screen 6. You can set predefined messages and click on these to send a message into chat without typing 7. Play sounds, various sounds and noises 8. Upload images from your pc into chat and onto the screen to show friends your pictures 9. Invite people from messenger, gmail, twitter and more
Select a chatter name On the right side of the screen , left click with your mouse, on the drop down menu you will see the various options to choose from
Choose a book of the bible, clcik on a verse and read the commentary
